About
Hello! こんにちは! Привет! Terve! ¡Hola!
I’m Eugene — a happy dad, Apple platform developer, average Nintendo enjoyer, and a fan of microcontrollers and single-board computers. I live in Buenos Aires and work remote.
What I build
iOS, mostly. SwiftUI and UIKit in production, some Kotlin Multiplatform where sharing logic actually pays for itself. My professional work has been in healthcare and logistics — domains where the interface being wrong is not a cosmetic problem.
Right now that means Lifetime Health, an app for ordering home healthcare services in India — on the App Store, so you can go and look at it. Before that I led iOS across a portfolio of MedTech projects. The CV has the dates.
Alongside that I publish Swift packages: sun-position maths, tactile UI sound, preview tooling, transitions, editors. Small, single-purpose, and installable in about thirty seconds.
How I work
I have relocated across countries with my family, which is a reasonable proxy for adapting quickly and communicating directly. I prefer async, written, and specific. I would rather ship something and write down what broke than plan something and describe what might.
That’s what the devlog is for.
